New Philippine Floods

A urgent request has been received from Rotory International District 3820 (Phillipines) for assistance  for the victims  of recent floods caused by typhoon rains in the Southern Luzon Region.  The region is a 10 hour drive from Manila and many thousands of people have lost their homes and livelihood having to seek refuge in relief areas.   Arrangements are now being made to despatch 108 Aquaboxes from Australia  to the flood affected areas as soon as possible  Distribution to the victims of the floods will be undertaken in partnership between Rotary and the Red Cross in the Philippines.  Updates will be provided when they become available.
